A Year In The Life Of aïr

It’s been a memorable 12 months for aïr and our network of Accredited Retailers, so we thought we’d reminisce a little and look back on some of our 2016 highlights.

1.       aïr Installer Goes To Great Heights

It was a very challenging start to the year for Herts Bi Fold Doors who were given the tricky task of integrating lift & slide doors into a second floor loft extension in London.

It took some assistance from a crane hire specialist to lift the 300 kilos heavy lift & slide doors into the sky in readiness for the firm’s top team of installers to fit them into place.

They most definitely win the award for the most complex aïr undertaking of 2016.

2.        Windows Etc Set To Open Latest aïrzone

There are several aïrzone’s in the UK where our Accredited Retailers spectacularly showcase some of our captivating lift & slide doors, and April saw Windows Etc of Essex open a brand new aïrzone in Colchester.

Featuring a triple track aïr 600LS, two pane aïr 500LS and an aïr 800 bi-folding door, their decision to create a dedicated and hugely impressive display area for the next generation in aluminium sliding and bi-folding doors has proved a great success.

The launch party for the aïrzone alone attracted over 100 people.

3.       Cedar Bifold Company Pass Their Toughest aïr Test Yet

Whilst Herts Bi Fold Doors take the honours for overcoming unknown heights to integrate aïr into a household, the Cedar Bifold Company arguably come out on top for fitting the most stretched out aïr installation.

It occurred in the Surrey town of Godalming where they supplied and fitted an 11 metre wide aïr 600 Lift & Slide door.

What made the installation all the more remarkable Cedar Bifold Company completed the installation in just one day!

4.      Love Is In The aïr At Norfolk Home

West Norfolk Glass were appointed with one of the most demanding aïr assignments of the year when appointed to fit three aïr 600LS lift & slide doors, and one aïr 800 bi-folding door.

Like many other aïr buyers this year, the occupants chose to have the doors finished externally in Anthracite Grey.

It’s safe to say that the owners of the house had fallen head over heels for aïr.
